Founded in 1981, Hay Fielding specialises in Annual 1 year Breakdown Insurance or 3 & 5 year
Extended Warranties for Domestic Electrical products, such as washing machines,
dishwashers, freezers, televisions, DVD etc.
Over the years we have managed insurance schemes for household names such as Electrolux,
Indesit, Flymo and National Retailers. Our Warranty Care policy is sold through many Electrical
Retail Outlets throughout the United Kingdom. We also arrange a breakdown insurance scheme
for members of the Domestic Appliance Service Association (DASA).
Where we stand out from our competitors is our unique offer to cover items that are 5 years old,
for single items, or 8 years old, for multiple items (where you must cover a minimum of 3 items
under one policy). We really are a one stop shop for all your domestic warranty needs. We are

Complaints Procedure
If you have a complaint please write to us at the above address.
If you cannot settle your complaint with us, you may be entitled to refer it to the Financial
Ombudsman Service.
All of our panel insurers are covered by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS).
You may be entitled to compensation from the scheme if our insurer cannot meet its obligations.
This depends on the type of business and the circumstances of the claim. Insurance advising
and arranging is covered for 100% of the first £2,000 and 90% of the remainder of the claim,
without any upper limit. Further information about compensation scheme arrangements are
